First Impressions

The packaging for the power leads is simple and to the point. The pair of cables sport a refined look with their weave sheath resembling space age carbon fiber materials. The cables themselves aren’t as pliable as normal power cables due to the shielding and plastic sheath which left the question of how well it would fit in tight spaces. The two black male/female molex connectors are labeled for the ends that plug into your device and the end going towards the power supply. Although this makes for quick orientation, as they only fit one way, it leaves one wondering: why? It’s useful, however the paint appears to be an overthought as it seems rushed and ununiform.

Installation

Installation of the powerleads was a nice and simple affair for the videocard. Plug one end into the videocard, and the other onto the power supply’s power lead. However installation on the hard drive was a little tricky. As my ThermalTake XaserV WinGo the hard drives are mounted sideways facing the side of the case, I was worried that the plastic node near the HDD connector wouldn't fit with the case closed, however there is room to bend the cable right between the molex connector and the sheathed wire.
