Benchmarks: Halo
Taking on the role of Master Chief, a genetcially bred killing machine, you are cast into a journey to save humanity from certain destruction from an alien race. After crash landing on a strange and unkown world, your goal is simple: explore this world known as Halo, find it's purpose and save humanity from the brink of anihilation. This first person shooter is port from the already classic game from the X-Box.
The P4 system running the 9800XT has a 6% lead over the 3400+ running the 5950 at 1024x768, and again the P4 with the 9800XT followed closely behind by the 3400+ with the same video card at higher resolutions.
Here we see kind of a swap under Pixel Shader 2.0 conditions. Although there's only a minute difference in scores, it seems like the 9800XT paired with the 3400+ takes the cake. However, there is so little difference between all the systems at 1600x1200.
