Introduction:

Chaintech is no stranger to the computer world. They were around since the early days of the original x86 motherboards. Obviously they have expanded into many other aspects of the computer world including video cards. Chaintech has been producing videocards since the early generation of nVidia cores. Now they have opened up a new line of video cards, calling it their Apogee line. They released their first Apogee videocard with the GeForce FX 5600 Ultra chipset.

It’s been a while that the FX5600 Ultra chipset has been out, but only a couple of months ago did the FX-71 get released. Chaintech spent a lot of time perfecting this video card, and for good reason. The FX-71 merits the Apogee name that Chaintech has given it due to the simple fact that it’s bundled with everything you can possibly imagine or ever want in a video card, and even some stuff that you haven’t even thought would be included with a video card.
