Canadian based graphics company, ATI, has always been living in nVidia’s shadow when it came to enthusiast video cards. However, as recent events have shown, ATi is no longer playing catch up, but is now the leader of the pack. Innovative ideas, such as their All In Wonder (AIW) series, have allowed them to stay on the market long enough to develop the technology that is at the forefront of 3D acceleration.
The AIW series has been around since the Rage 128 graphics core. Since its indoctrination, the AIW line has been delivering high quality 2D, 3D graphics performance as well as TV, DVD and video editing tools to consumers. It has been heralded as the greatest multimedia video card line for the mainstream market. In addition to the standard multimedia offerings you can expect from the AIW line, he latest incarnation of the AIW series, the 9600XT AIW, offers a new feature to the line, a FM tuner.
