Comanche 4 and Quake 3
Looks like what we hoped for could not come true. In Comanche, the KT748 is a whopping 15% slower than the nForce2, and 10.5% slower than the KT400. IN Quake 3, these figures are similar (except that the Gigabyte takes the lead over the nForce 2). Once again, a fairly disappointing outing for the KT748.
Unreal Tournament 2003
Although it loses at 1024x768 resolution, Unreal Tournament can be considered to be the first real-world win for the KT748. At 1280 and up, the KT748 beats out the Gigabyte as well as the Asus board.
