Conclusion

Thermaltake's endeavour into the hard drive enclosure market seems to be well thought out with solutions for all types of drives, from the 2.5" drives to the 5.25" ones. Going with a sleek stylish design, they seem to have a winner on their hands right here. As seen with the test results, there's not any real improment in speed from enclosure to enclosure, but the features of each unit will dictate which one you're going to want to get. Thermaltake put a lot of thought into their design and have come up with some features unique to them. The active cooling solution was one of my favorite add ons, since my drive got extremely hot during operation with the NexStar. The aluminum construction also provides a nice stylish design which will suit your esthetic needs.
