The scrwedriver is for use with the miniature screws that come with the 350U2.
First Impressions
Upon first picking up the unit, I was surprised at how light it felt. Basically it felt weightless in my hands. I was a little dissapointed though when I inspected the 350U2. When they were talking about aluminum construction, they were only talking about the removable panels. The rest of the unit is made out of plastic, which takes away some prestige from it.
Installation of my 160Gb Western Digital hard drive was simple enough. There were only two minor inconveniences when installing the hard drive. The first one was I had to rotate the power connector so that it would fit into the provided port. The second one, however, is akin to most hard drive enclosures. If they could make these things about half a centimeter longer, it wouldn't be so tight inside it.
Powering on the unit in Windows XP couldn't have been more simple. The unit detected clean and clear. A few minutes after turning on the device however, I noticed it started getting a little warm. A few minutes after that, it got to the point where it was almost too hot to touch. Some sort of active cooling for the 350U2 would have been a good idea since hard drives to generate an enormous amount of heat.
