Introduction

The name Thermaltake has been long time associated with cooling products from their early orb days. However they recently have expanded their way into such products as power supplies, keyboards, mice, and cases. Their venture into building enclosures for enthusiasts has been very fruitful for Thermaltake since their early Xaser I days. These cases were large heavy ones which brought a certain style to those who did not have any modding talent in their blood. These cases, very well built, were not practical in the sense of mobility. They were heavy and necessitated a lot of effort in moving it around. With the growing popularity of LAN gaming, there was a need for a lightweight case that allowed for somebody with no modding experience to look good and frag well at a LAN party. This is where the Xaser III LANFIRE edition comes into play.

Specifications

The LANFIRE case was designed with LAN-goers in mind. Its lightweight aluminum construction weighs in at 4kg, cutting the weight down by slightly more than 50% from the original Xaser III aluminum series. There are tons of features on this case that include a Hardcano fan control unit/temperature monitor, the Fireball EL flash lighting, as well as an pre-modded x-window to show off your killer hardware. Here’s a list of the specs and other features this case includes.

The LANFIRE also came with a bag of screws, a set of keys, some adapters for the Hardcano to convert from 4 to 3 pins, as well as the thermal probe with thermal tape for the temperature monitor.
